DT sewing

In DT we were set the challenge of creating a purse to collect shells from the beach.

We learnt how to thread a needle and perform a running stitch. We first practiced on a prototype (a butterfly with ready made holes). Then we cut out templates out of felt to create our end product.

We love Drama!

During our English lesson this week we pretended to be reporters to interview the characters for our story. We had great fun using microphones to ask our questions. The children came up with some brilliant questions I think we have some budding reporters in our midst.

Science Week 2019

We have had a brilliant week during science week. Today we have been investigating sound by seeing how long we could make our voices travel using plastic tubes.
