At Catforth Primary School we aim to offer an Early Years Curriculum that is rich in curiosity, wonder and joy. Our challenging and exciting environment enables children to explore and develop their sense of creativity and adventure. We model and celebrate the wonder of discovery, and seek to spark a lifelong love of learning.

Children learn alongside one another through a balance of child initiated and adult led experiences. Our Curriculum aims to build upon what children already know and can do, developing their knowledge and skills and creating a strong foundation for future learning. 

  


Lions Class Information 
Reception - Please bring reading books and diaries to school every day.
Books are changed on Mondays and Thursdays. 
Phonics wallets are updated on a Friday. 
 
Nursery - Story sacks will be sent home on Fridays. Please return by the following Wednesday. 

PE for all children is on a Monday afternoon
Forest School sessions are on Tuesday afternoons.

We use the Tapestry app. to share home school learning ideas and celebrate wow moments at school and home.
