At Catforth we love and value Design and Technology. The children take pride in the products they produce and enjoy the process of designing, making and evaluating their projects. Our projects always link to the wider curriculum to ensure that they are meaningful to the children and their ideas are informed by what they have learnt in other subjects.
Each term, the children take part in a full DT unit linked to the curriculum, as well as a smaller project to practise DT skills. This helps children keep their DT knowledge fresh as part of our rolling program of study.
