We had a wonderful day in Lions class on Roald Dahl Day

Lions class had fun on Roald Dahl day, sharing the story of the Enormous Crocodile. Lots of us dressed up and we had some special visitors to our class - Mrs Harrison was a Roly Poly bird and Mrs Byrne-Fraser and Miss Cairns dressed up as 'Mugglewump'. We made Crocodile Smoothie using green fruit and vegetables - Miss Crossthwaite thought it was DELICIOUS!

We added basil and lavender to our green dough and made some very lonnnnng crocodiles with zig zag teeth.

In the afternoon, we thought about how Trunky the elephant whizzed the Enormous Crocodile up into the sky where he was sizzled by the sun! We had our own 'Welly Whizz' competition and counted how many steps to where our boot landed.
