Our Bodies

Today in science we had lots of activities on offer to learn more about our bodies. We used the mirrors to look closely at our eyes to help us draw them. We had discussions about what the most important body part was. We also created our own X-rays and moving skeletons. We love…

Pollination

We learnt that pollination happens with help from people, insects, birds and other animals. We used glitter to show how pollen can be transferred from flowering plant to flowering plant.

Seed dispersal

We investigated seed dispersal by simulating seed pod bursting by observing glitter filled balloons. We blew bubbles to help us imagine how different seeds could be carried by the wind.
