Children in Need 2018

Wow words!

The children used a thesaurus in groups and pairs to find adjectives. They recorded their words on either paint charts or target boards to show which they thought were the strongest word choices.

Gymnastics

The children created sequences that included different ways of travelling and balances. The class had to use strength and control. They then worked in pairs to teach other their sequences.

Pom Pom poppies

We made some super pom-poms poppies for a display in the entrance.

Branching database preparation

Today we played games that involved asking questions with yes or no answers. This was in preparation for creating branching databases.

Parents afternoon in tigers class

We had a brilliant afternoon with our parents. The children took part in activities with some of their adults. The activities supported their learning about healthy heroes and Africa.
