After researching three main types of rock, the children sorted rocks they had found according to their features.

The children pretended an earthquake was happening and went through all the procedures they had researched.
Volcano art
The children's in Tigers class worked incredibly hard to create volcano art. They did ice dying to create a background, they added material with glue and back stuck, they made stencils and added details and attached buttons for effect. The results were fantastic.
